‘Asman Bank’ has started recruiting employees without waiting for the National Bank's licence

The new foreign bank Asman Bank, which has not yet received a licence from the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, is already recruiting employees.

On the website hh.kg posted three vacancies: head of internal audit (150-200 thousand KGS), chief specialist of remote banking (70-100 thousand KGS) and programmer (90-150 thousand KGS).

Earlier it became known that Asman Bank submitted documents to the National Bank of KR to obtain a licence. Now the regulator should consider them within six months.

The Bank was registered in June 2024 with the participation of foreign capital. The sole founder is Mikhail Kuzovlev - former head of ‘Bank of Moscow’. The country of origin of the capital is Cyprus.

    With effect from 1 July 2026, the official spelling of the national currency in Russian has been changed from ‘тенге’ to ‘теңге’ in Kazakhstani legislation. The relevant amendments have been made to the Tax Code and a number of regulatory documents issued by the National Bank.
