02/26/2025, 17:33The Antimonopoly Service under the Ministry of Economy and Commerce sent a request to Asman Airlines to analyse the state of competition in the air transport market in Kyrgyzstan.
The purpose of the enquiry is to obtain the data necessary to assess the competitive environment in this area. This is a standard procedure aimed at protecting consumer interests and maintaining fair competition.
However, Asman Airlines did not provide the requested information within the established deadline. Such disregard of the antimonopoly authorities' requirements is regarded as a violation of Article 15 of the Competition Law, which obliges companies to provide documents and information upon request. This creates additional problems for market analysis and may have a negative impact on the company's position.
As a result, the antimonopoly service issued an instruction to eliminate this violation. In the document, the company is reminded of the need to comply with legal requirements and provide the requested information. This requirement emphasises the importance of transparency and responsibility of companies in a competitive market.
In response to the Antimonopoly Service's application, Asman Airlines said that the order issued by the Antimonopoly Service had been worked out. All necessary information in full and documents were sent to the Antimonopoly Service.
