03/04/2025, 09:16First Deputy Head of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev held a meeting with Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation Vasily Kozlov, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a working visit.
During the meeting they discussed issues of bilateral cooperation in such areas as education, culture, investments, energy, engineering, transport, tourism, as well as light and processing industry.
Special attention was paid to the development of tourism. It is planned to resume the Ekaterinburg-Tamchy flight, which should increase the tourist flow between the regions. Amangeldiev noted that Kyrgyzstan will become a partner country of the Summer-2025 exhibition in Ekaterinburg and offered health resort treatment in the republic.
Vasily Kozlov expressed the Sverdlovsk Oblast's interest in expanding mutually beneficial co-operation and readiness to intensify investments in promising projects in Kyrgyzstan. The parties also discussed the agenda and priority areas of the upcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, which will be held in Bishkek.
