03/02/2026, 09:00On March 1, Kyrgyz Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov met with Lin Wu, secretary of the Communist Party of China Shandong Provincial Committee, in Jinan.
The parties confirmed the high level of comprehensive strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China and discussed the development of interregional cooperation, in particular, interaction between the regions of the republic and Shandong Province.
During the talks, Edil Baysalov proposed intensifying practical cooperation, including the creation of new production facilities in Kyrgyzstan and support for small and medium-sized businesses.
According to him, thanks to the economic growth of recent years, Kyrgyzstan is moving to a new stage of development, in which the introduction of modern production technologies, the launch of export-oriented enterprises, and the creation of jobs are becoming priorities.
“The Kyrgyz government is developing new state programs for industrial development and intends to actively use the experience and practical cooperation with China,” Baisalov said.
Lin Wu, secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, confirmed his readiness to promote the expansion of investment and industrial cooperation, the development of industrial product supplies, and humanitarian exchanges.
Following the talks, the parties agreed to continue working to strengthen interregional ties and implement joint initiatives.
During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation also visited a number of large machine-building enterprises in Shandong Province and familiarized themselves with their production activities.
