Bakai Bank to increase authorized capital to KGS 10 billion

Bakai Bank has decided to increase its authorized capital from KGS 7 billion to KGS 10 billion. The capital increase will be carried out through an additional issue of ordinary registered shares of the twenty-sixth issue — a total of more than 63.8 million shares are planned to be placed at a price of 47 KGS per share. The total amount raised will be almost 3 billion KGS.

Part of the profit for 2024 will be used to increase capital, including that of the Islamic Financial Center at the bank, which will amount to more than KGS 203 million.

The placement of shares will be conducted in a closed format among shareholders entitled to dividends based on the results of 2024.

Payment will be made in cashless form from undistributed profits.

The process will begin on the next business day after the registration of the issue with the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service under the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and will be completed in a year.

The bank's charter will also be approved in a new version with subsequent re-registration with state authorities.
