06/16/2026, 11:16Bakyt Torobaev, Special Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan, spoke at the 7th Summit of Multinational Corporation Leaders in China and invited international businesses to implement investment projects in the republic.
At the summit in Qingdao, Torobaev stated that by the end of 2025, trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and China had reached a record $27 billion. Participants were also presented with the key priorities of the Kyrgyz Republic’s National Development Programme up to 2030, including projects in the fields of transport, energy, education and healthcare.
Plans to develop railway infrastructure, build renewable energy facilities and create new production capacity attracted particular interest.
Kyrgyzstan continues to attract foreign investors and expand economic cooperation with China — one of its largest trading partners.
Previously, Bishkek and Beijing had repeatedly stated their intention to deepen their strategic partnership and increase the volume of mutual trade and investment.
