Banks bought a weekly minimum of currency on the interbank market

On the interbank currency market, the volume of foreign currency purchases fell to a weekly low. According to data from the National Bank.

On 4 November, the total volume of transactions amounted to only $1.5 million — the lowest figure since last week. The entire amount was placed with settlements on a date other than the transaction date.

For comparison, on 3 November, banks purchased about $4.3 million, on 31 October — $4.1 million, and on 30 October — also $1.5 million. Prior to that, the minimum was recorded on 11 September, when banks bought only $900,000, $200,000 with settlements on the transaction date, and another $700,000 on a different date.

The dollar exchange rate remained stable at 87.45 KGS.
