The total volume of transactions for the week amounted to $43.1 million. Nearly 40% of the turnover occurred on the last trading day:
Thus, the market demonstrated a surge in liquidity toward the end of the week. Throughout the week, the dollar exchange rate remained within the range of 87.44–87.45 som.
In most trading sessions, both the opening and closing rates were fixed at 87.45 som. The only deviation was observed on April 8—87.44 som at the close.
By settlement type, the market was divided almost evenly:
At the same time, spot transactions prevailed on Friday. This indicates current demand for currency liquidity.
