06/04/2025, 14:24The Belarus-Kyrgyzstan business forum was held at the Belagro-2025 international exhibition, where the parties agreed to strengthen agricultural cooperation.
During the forum, representatives of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry signed two key documents.
The first is a memorandum of cooperation in the field of livestock breeding. It provides for the exchange of technologies, the development of breeding programs, and the improvement of breed quality. The parties paid special attention to semen freezing technologies, a modern method of storing animal genetic material.
The second is an agreement on the supply of agricultural products from Kyrgyzstan to Belarus. The list includes fresh vegetables and fruits, including potatoes, carrots, cabbage, apples, and citrus fruits.
Both sides expect that these agreements will give new impetus to the development of the agricultural sector and strengthen bilateral trade.
