08/26/2026, 09:33The Bishkek Thermal Power Station is operating normally. As of 25 August, the station’s average electrical output stands at 160 MW, according to the City Council’s press office.
Over the past 24 hours, the plant generated 3.9 million kilowatt-hours of electricity and supplied 2,000 gigacalories of thermal energy.
The CHP plant is equipped with 15 boiler units, seven cross-connected turbine units and two power units. Currently, three boiler units, two turbine units and power unit No. 3 are in operation. A further five boiler units, two turbine units and power unit No. 4 are undergoing maintenance.
Seven boiler units and three turbine units remain on standby. Coal stocks at the CHP plant’s depot total 181,800 tonnes.
