02/13/2026, 12:50Schools in the capital demonstrate high educational performance, with 70% of gold certificates in the national testing being received by graduates from Bishkek.
By the end of 2025, a large-scale modernization of preschool and school institutions was carried out in the field of education. The transformation affected 25 existing and 7 new kindergartens, which made it possible to additionally cover up to 4,500 children.
Seven kindergartens were transferred to municipal ownership, and five of them underwent major repairs. As part of the digitalization process, 25 schools were equipped with interactive panels.
The availability of textbooks is 76% in the Kyrgyz language and 67% in Russian. Based on the results of the national testing, 54 graduates across the country received gold certificates, 38 of whom were students from Bishkek.
In addition, under the “Young Teacher Deposit” program, 49 teachers received support totaling 6.5 million KGS.
