There were 257 forms - now there are 156. 120 reports no longer need to be submitted. This was reported by the director of the National Institute for Strategic Initiatives.
He noted that along with the simplification of reporting, the structure of government agencies is being optimized. For example, inefficient institutions - the center under the Ministry of Culture, the “Green Fund”, as well as some structures in the energy sector - have been eliminated.
But, according to him, the reform is not just a reduction. Some of the freed employees are being transferred to other necessary tasks. For example, thousands of rural libraries that used to have separate buildings and staffs are now being attached to local schools. Books and premises are transferred to the school, and staff continue to work within the educational institutions.
The fate of some cultural centers is the same. Some of them are physically destroyed, but the staff still includes a director, a security guard and other employees. These units are transferred to places where there are really conditions for work, and the staff is reduced to a reasonable minimum.
“It is important for us not just to save money, but to use resources wisely. The freed people and buildings should work efficiently - for schools, for creativity, for digital projects,” said Baetov.
