07/25/2025, 10:18Minister of Water Resources and Agriculture Bakyt Torobaev visited the village of Bokonbaevo in the Tonsky District of Issyk-Kul Region, where he familiarized himself with the implementation of a project to provide the population with clean drinking water.
According to the ministry, the project is 42.57% complete. Once completed, more than 20,500 people will have permanent access to safe water.
"Clean water is a source of health. Every citizen should have access to safe drinking water. We will make every effort to complete the project on time and with high quality," Torobaev said.
Work on connecting households to the water supply system began on March 1, 2025. To date, 216 subscribers have already been connected to the network. Full completion of the project is scheduled for February 2028.
The government emphasizes that improving access to clean drinking water is one of the priorities of state policy, contributing to the sustainable development of the regions.
