06/16/2026, 10:51Over 400 representatives from the business sector, government bodies, international organisations and the diplomatic corps took part in IBC Summer Fest 2026, organised by the International Business Council (IBC).
The festival took place in a new format as a large-scale summer open-air event and became one of the largest platforms for informal dialogue between business and the state. Participants discussed the development of entrepreneurship, the digital economy, fintech and new forms of cooperation.
According to IBC Executive Director Askar Sydykov, in a rapidly changing economy, platforms where entrepreneurs can exchange ideas, find partners and launch joint projects play a particularly important role.
Today, business development increasingly depends not only on investment and technology, but also on strong professional communities capable of pooling resources and expertise.
The MDS remains Kyrgyzstan’s largest international business association, bringing together more than 160 companies and over 100 partners. The festival also included a ceremony to present certificates to new members of the association, which demonstrates the growing interest among businesses in joining forces to develop the country’s economy.
