11/30/2025, 16:58Between November 1 and 28, 57,057 Kyrgyz citizens used the self-imposed credit ban service via the Tunduk mobile app. This was reported by the National Bank.
Earlier, on November 10, the National Bank had already reported that over 19,000 people had registered for self-restriction in the first week of the month alone. Thus, demand for the new protective measure continued to grow throughout the month.
As a reminder, the self-ban on lending mechanism came into effect in Kyrgyzstan on November 1. It was developed on the initiative of the Jogorku Kenesh deputies and approved by the president.
The service is provided free of charge, is voluntary, and allows citizens to block in advance the possibility of obtaining loans and credits in their name from any financial and credit organizations.
