Kyrgyz Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliev concludes working visit to Berlin

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev concluded his working visit to Berlin, which took place from November 28 to 29.

Earlier, the first cycle of events in the format “Days of the Economy of Kyrgyzstan and Germany” was successfully completed in Kyrgyzstan. The main purpose of the Prime Minister's trip to Berlin was to launch the second cycle of this large-scale format, aimed at deepening economic cooperation and attracting investment.

During his visit, Kasymaliyev took an active part in the Kyrgyz-German Business Forum on the topic: “Kyrgyzstan National Economy Day in Berlin,” which brought together more than 300 representatives of large businesses, investors, and experts from both countries. The forum presented investment opportunities in Kyrgyzstan and discussed specific projects in various sectors of the economy. A regular meeting of the Kyrgyz-German Business Council was also held, where the prospects for expanding trade and economic ties and implementing joint initiatives were discussed.

Adylbek Kasymaliyev held a series of important bilateral meetings with representatives of the Bundestag and business circles, during which issues of cooperation development in various fields were discussed.

In addition, he visited the international postal exchange office of Kyrgyz Post in the German capital and sent a symbolic parcel to one of the orphanages in Kyrgyzstan.

Concluding the visit, Adylbek Kasymaliyev took a walk through the center of Berlin accompanied by Michael Harms, Executive Director of the German Eastern Business Association. This informal meeting facilitated discussion of the prospects for further economic cooperation and the strengthening of personal contacts in business circles.

The day before, the Prime Minister returned to Bishkek.
