07/13/2026, 14:34Since the start of 2026, 2,906 citizens with disabilities have received state-funded health resort treatment. This was reported by the Ministry of Labour, Social Security and Migration of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the ministry, 674 people with Group I disabilities, 2,013 with Group II disabilities and 219 with Group III disabilities received rehabilitation treatment.
The treatment took place at three health resorts across the country. The ‘Goluboy Issyk-Kul’ sanatorium hosted the largest number of guests, with 1,950 people undergoing rehabilitation there. A further 726 people received treatment at the Mamakeev Sanatorium and Preventive Care Centre, whilst 230 were treated at the ‘Vorontsovka’ sanatorium.
To continue the programme, the Ministry has concluded new contracts with specialist institutions. Following the 2026 tenders, 3,251 sanatorium and resort vouchers have been procured. Of these, 2,564 places are allocated to the Mamakeev Sanatorium, and a further 687 to the Vorontsovka Sanatorium.
The Ministry noted that efforts to provide citizens with disabilities with sanatorium and resort treatment will continue. The programme is aimed at rehabilitation, improving health and enhancing the quality of life of service recipients.
