Most cars with foreign license plates are legalized in Bishkek and Chui Region

The largest number of cars with foreign license plates have been legalized in Bishkek and the Chui region. As of the morning of August 27, 1,816 vehicles were registered in the capital and 2,074 in the Chui region.

A total of 7,768 cars with foreign registration numbers have been registered throughout the country. In other regions, the figures are as follows: 914 in the Osh region, 1,142 in the Jalal-Abad region, 427 in the Batken region, 184 in the Naryn region, 348 in the Talas region, 296 in the Issyk-Kul region, and 567 in the city of Osh.

Most of the vehicles have an engine capacity of up to 2,000 KGS — 4,632 units. There are 3,136 vehicles with an engine capacity of over 2,000 KGS.

By registration method: 6,914 cars are registered by their owners independently, and 854 vehicles are registered from impound lots.
