From 1 October, pensions in Kyrgyzstan cannot be less than 7,100 KGS

The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on the indexation of pensions assigned in accordance with the Law ‘On State Pension Social Insurance’ from 1 October 2025.

According to the document, from 1 October 2025, the indexation coefficient for the insurance part of pensions has been set at 1.10 for pensions with an insurance part of up to 50,000 KGS. It has been established that the total amount of pensions after 1 October 2025 cannot be less than 7,100 soms, taking into account supplements due to the increase in the basic part of the pension, except in cases provided for by this law.

The Social Fund under the Cabinet of Ministers is instructed to index, from 1 October 2025, the amounts of the insurance parts of pensions assigned before 1 October 2025 by a coefficient of 1.10, but not less than 600 (six hundred) soms and no more than 5,000 KGS for pensions with an insurance portion exceeding 50,000 KGS, as well as to ensure the timely recalculation of the insurance portions of pensions and their payment in the new amounts.
