06/10/2026, 11:47A resident of the Chui Region was arrested for illegal hunting in the mountains of the Kemin District. Two wild boars, a roe deer, two pheasants and a partridge, all obtained through poaching, were seized from the man.
The offender was taken to the Kemin District Internal Affairs Department. For the damage caused to wildlife and the environment, he was fined 212,000 KGS, which he paid in full voluntarily.
The man’s illegally used hunting weapon was also seized and handed over to the district police department. Furthermore, the poacher was banned from hunting for three years.
The fight against illegal hunting remains a priority for environmental protection authorities, as poaching causes serious damage to the country’s wildlife populations and ecosystems.
