08/15/2026, 09:00The value of work carried out under construction contracts in Kyrgyzstan reached 282.8 billion KGS by the end of 2025, an increase of almost 3.1 times compared with 2021, when the figure stood at 90.4 billion KGS.
The bulk of construction work continues to be carried out by the private sector. In 2025, private organisations carried out work worth 265.4 billion KGS, or 93.8% of the total volume. By way of comparison, in 2021 their share stood at 97.6%.
Over the past year, state organisations carried out construction work worth 17.1 billion KGS, which corresponds to 6.1 per cent of the total volume. Over five years, this figure has increased more than eightfold — from 2.1 billion KGS in 2021.
Municipal organisations accounted for 284.4 million KGS, or 0.1% of the total volume of construction work. Despite this small share, the volume of work carried out by them increased from 201.9 million to 284.4 million KGS compared with 2024.
