08/15/2026, 12:00According to figures for 2025, farmholdings produced 63.2 per cent of Kyrgyzstan’s total agricultural output, retaining their status as the largest category of producers. A year earlier, their share stood at 64.0 per cent.
Private household plots accounted for 33.6% of total agricultural output, compared with 32.9% in 2024. The share of state and collective farms increased from 3.1% to 3.2%.
Compared with 2021, the structure of agricultural production changed only slightly. The share of commercial farms rose from 62.1 per cent to 63.2 per cent, and that of state and collective farms from 1.5 per cent to 3.2 per cent, whilst the contribution of private smallholdings fell from 36.4 per cent to 33.6 per cent.
