The purity of gold produced at the upgraded Kyrgyzaltyn refinery was 99.99%

Kyrgyzaltyn OJSC earned over 17.5 billion KGS in profit in the first nine months of this year, while completing a key stage of technological modernization. This was announced by Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev at a plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh.

The main result of the modernization was an increase in the purity of refined gold, which meets the highest international standards and allows Kyrgyzaltyn's products to circulate freely on international precious metals markets.

“The purity of the products is 99.99%. This meets international standards,” said the head of the Cabinet of Ministers.

Thus, the renovation of the refinery has brought the enterprise to a qualitatively new technological level, strengthening Kyrgyzstan's position as a producer of high-purity gold and increasing the export potential of the industry.

It should be noted that Kyrgyzaltyn is wholly owned by the state. The main shareholder of the company is the State Agency for State Property Management under the Cabinet of Ministers, which owns 99.7771% of the shares, with the remaining 0.2229% owned by the Ministry of Finance.
