Colonel General Kamchybek Tashiev, on behalf of President Sadyr Zhaparov, handed over modern equipment and specialised vehicles worth 81 million soms to the Department of Security and Escort.
The department received 14 units of special equipment, 191 video surveillance cameras, 9 drones and 450 video recorders.
The SCNS chairman also noted that all necessary conditions will continue to be created for the employees of the GSIN to strengthen their material and technical base, including providing housing for all employees of this service. In addition, he reminded them of the need to prevent corruption among their own ranks and urged the GSIN employees to continue their active work on the resocialisation of convicts.
The new equipment and specialised vehicles will improve the department's work, ensure the safety of employees, and strengthen order and control in the institutions.
