He noted that despite increases in salaries and pensions, the country is experiencing high prices, and therefore Antimonopoly Service employees should work on the ground and crack down on unjustified price increases.
‘In the Chui region, diesel costs 60 KGS at oil depots, while 100 metres away at petrol stations it is sold for 73 KGS. They say that cement has become more expensive and that this is why prices for other goods are rising. When the new version of the Tax Code was adopted, we reduced the tax for cafes and restaurants from 8% to 4%. But they did not reduce their service charges,’ said the deputy.
