Most sewing workshops and large factories in Kyrgyzstan operate under the single tax regime. This was stated on the radio program “Birinchi Radio” by the deputy chairman of the State Tax Service, Kubanychbek Ysabekov.

According to him, the most favorable conditions have been created for light industry enterprises.

“Two or three years ago, a rate of 0.25% was set for the garment industry. This is a very low rate. For comparison, enterprises in other manufacturing industries operating under the single tax pay 4.2% for cash payments and 2% for non-cash payments,” Isabekov noted.

He emphasized that this tax policy is one of the tools of state support for the industry, which plays an important role in the country's economy. Preferential tax conditions stimulate the development of light industry, job creation, and the strengthening of Kyrgyzstan's export potential.
