11/19/2025, 12:09According to the Ministry of Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, in the first eight months of 2025, fees for the registration of motor vehicles amounted to 3 billion 345.2 million KGS.
For comparison, during the same period in 2024, this figure was almost two and a half times lower — 1 billion 355.8 million KGS.
Documents from the Ministry of Finance show that the main volume of revenue under the heading “fees” comes from vehicle registration.
The increase in revenue may be linked, among other things, to the vehicle legalization campaign carried out from April 1 to October 1, when vehicle owners registered their cars en masse in accordance with government requirements.
