Revenues in Kyrgyzstan’s financial sector rose by 27.4%

In 2025, there were 576 organisations operating in Kyrgyzstan’s financial sector. These included the National Bank, 22 commercial banks, 532 non-bank financial and credit organisations, 19 insurance companies and two investment funds.

The sector’s total revenue reached 253 billion 204.7 million KGS. Compared with the previous year, this figure increased by 27.4%, or by 54 billion 520.7 million KGS.

This growth was driven primarily by commercial banks, whose revenue rose by 33 billion 24.4 million KGS. The National Bank also made a significant contribution – an increase of 12 billion 966.3 million KGS. Revenues of insurance companies increased by 5 billion 32 million KGS, and those of microcredit organisations by 3 billion 584.4 million KGS.

The financial sector’s expenditure for the same period amounted to 147 billion 971 million KGS. Compared with 2024, this represents an increase of 30.8%, or 34 billion 839.1 million KGS.
