06/30/2026, 11:18Kyrgyzstan’s state budget revenues for January–May totaled 376.3 billion KGS. This is 115.2 billion KGS, or 44.1%, more than during the same period last year. This is according to data from the report on the execution of the state budget.
Tax revenues remained the main source of growth, as is traditional. In the first five months of this year, they reached 228.6 billion KGS, compared to 166.6 billion KGS a year earlier. The increase amounted to 61.97 billion KGS, or 37.2%.
The State Tax Service accounted for the largest share of tax revenues. From January through May, the State Tax Service transferred 159.4 billion KGS to the budget, which is 45.8 billion KGS (40.4%) more than during the same period in 2025.
Revenues from the State Customs Service also increased. Over the five-month period, they totaled 69.2 billion KGS, compared to 53 billion KGS a year earlier. The increase amounted to 16.1 billion KGS, or 30.4%.
Revenues to the national budget increased from 238.5 billion KGS to 350.9 billion KGS, while revenues to local budgets rose from 30.1 billion KGS to 37.1 billion KGS.
Thus, over the first five months of 2026, Kyrgyzstan’s budget demonstrated steady revenue growth.
