The dollar and yuan rose, while the euro and tenge weakened

On 17 January 2026, the official exchange rate of the US dollar was 87.4500 KGS, increasing by only 0.0013%.

The euro fell by 0.179% and settled at 101.5251 KGS. The Russian rouble rose by 0.242%, reaching 1.1182 KGS.

The Kazakh tenge showed a slight decline of 0.176% to 0.1709 KGS. The Chinese yuan strengthened by 0.009% to 12.5489 KGS.
