The Lebedinovka–HES-5 road has been widened to four lanes

Main asphalt laying works have been completed on the 5.1 km-long Lebedinovka–HES-5 road. As part of the reconstruction, the number of lanes has been increased from two to four, and the project is now 97% complete.

According to the Ministry of Transport’s press office, the lower layer of asphalt concrete and the upper layer of crushed stone mastic asphalt (SMA-22) have been fully laid on the road.

Work is currently continuing on site to install road signs, apply road markings, erect barriers and fit out bus stops.

In addition, as part of the project, a 2-kilometre dual-carriageway leading to the Birimdik-Kut residential estate has been built.

Construction work on the Lebedinovka–HPP-5 road began on 26 February 2025.
