In Tokmok, a waste collection company has been fined 17,000 KGS

In Tokmok, the waste collection company ‘Ecologist’ has been fined 17,000 KGS. The reason was a failure to adhere to the schedule for the collection of solid household waste, which had been the subject of complaints from local residents.

An inspection was carried out by the Environmental and Technical Supervision Service under the Ministry of Natural Resources. It emerged that rubbish collection on certain streets had been delayed. The company has five specialised vehicles on its books.

The department explained that the collection timetable had been affected by roadworks, which prevented the specialised vehicles from accessing some bin collection points, as well as by technical and financial difficulties.

Following the inspection, a fine of 17,000 KGS was imposed on the company for previously identified breaches, in accordance with the Code on Administrative Offences.
