11/13/2025, 14:31On November 12, Tigran Sargsyan, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank, held a press conference where he summarized the work of the Digital Initiatives Fund (DIF) for 2025 and announced the launch of a new digital project competition.
According to Sargsyan, over the past year, the Fund has supported 10 new initiatives worth more than $15 million. These include the digital transformation of the capital of Kazakhstan, the creation of an electronic map of Dushanbe, the introduction of artificial intelligence in public administration, and a water resource monitoring system.
In addition, grant support was provided to projects on the introduction of electronic vehicle passports in Armenia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the development of the Clean Games platform for eco-volunteers.
The main announcement of the press conference was the opening of applications for the EDB Digital Projects Competition. Companies and organizations from all member countries of the Bank, regardless of their field of activity, are eligible to participate. The topics of the projects are not limited.
“For the EDB, supporting digital transformation is a systemic task, not a one-off campaign. I am confident that the new ideas and technological solutions that we will discover through this competition will contribute to the integration and improvement of the quality of life of millions of people,” said Tigran Sargsyan.
Applications will be accepted until January 31, 2026. Detailed terms and conditions are available on the website fci.eabr.org/projects/competition and on the FCI Telegram channel.
