07/07/2025, 16:54The Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission has adopted a decision aimed at simplifying the procedure for importing high-tech medical devices, including modern magnetic resonance imaging systems, into the Eurasian Economic Union.
To this end, the list of radio frequency bands for products that do not require a licence, conclusion (permit) or information from the unified register when imported into the customs territory of the EAEU has been expanded.
«These systems have a number of advantages in terms of high-quality imaging, installation and operation. Their technical characteristics do not cause electromagnetic interference», — said Vahagn Kazarian, Director of the Customs Tariff and Non-Tariff Regulation Department of the EEC.
The decision will reduce the financial and time costs for organisations importing the specified goods.
The document will enter into force 30 calendar days after its official publication.
