01/30/2026, 09:13On January 29, the State Development Bank of Kyrgyzstan held a working meeting with a delegation from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, during which the possibility of opening a credit line for the Kyrgyz development institution was discussed.
The central topic of the negotiations was the potential financing of small and medium-sized business projects, as well as the expansion of instruments to support sustainable economic growth. The parties exchanged views on the formation of a joint cooperation agenda and the parameters of possible financing.
Particular attention was paid to credit lines for the State Development Bank, which could be used for subsequent lending to entrepreneurs and investment projects. According to the parties, such instruments can strengthen the bank's role as a key development institution and expand business access to long-term resources.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in strengthening their partnership and agreed to continue dialogue and consultations on promising areas of cooperation.
