Exports of Kyrgyz ceramic tiles have risen by almost 55%

In the first two months of 2026, Kyrgyzstan saw a sharp increase in exports of unglazed ceramic tiles. Russia and Kazakhstan were the main buyers.

From January to February, the volume of shipments rose by 54.9% to 549,900 square metres. In monetary terms, exports increased by 86.3% to $2.3 million.

Kyrgyzstan sent the largest volume of products to Russia — 292,700 square metres worth $1.33 million. Compared to last year, exports to this country rose by 60.6% in volume and by 84.9% in value.

Exports to Kazakhstan almost doubled: exports rose by 99.5% in volume – to 298,400 square metres – and by 91.2% in value – to $990,000.

Exports to Belarus remained virtually at last year’s level — 3,700 square metres worth $15,000. However, the volume of shipments rose by 14.9%, whilst the value fell by 5.7%.
