Exports of butter from Kyrgyzstan increased more than fourfold

During the period from January to May 2025, Kyrgyzstan significantly increased its exports of butter compared to the same period in 2024. Total deliveries amounted to 1,092 tons worth $7.22 million, indicating steady growth in the country's export potential in this segment.

For comparison, during the same period in 2024, exports amounted to only 407.6 tons worth about $1.7 million.

Russia remains the main destination for exports. In 2025, exports to this country reached 940 tons worth $6.04 million, which significantly exceeds last year's figures. Kazakhstan also remains an important market for Kyrgyz producers: in January–May 2025, 134.7 tons of oil worth $1.14 million were delivered there.

Smaller volumes of exports went to the US and Uzbekistan. Only 200 kilograms of the product worth $2,100 were shipped to the US, and 17.1 tons worth $39,300 to Uzbekistan.

There were no exports to Azerbaijan and Belarus during this period.
