Exports of glassware from Kyrgyzstan have more than doubled, with the main growth coming from Uzbekistan

In January–February 2026, Kyrgyzstan increased its exports of glassware by 2.7 times in monetary terms and by more than two times in volume.

This refers to glassware exports from Kyrgyzstan during the first two months of 2026. The total volume of shipments amounted to 3.33 million units, which is 167.5% more than a year earlier.

In monetary terms, exports rose to $869,000, representing approximately a twofold increase compared to the same period last year.

Main export destinations:

• Uzbekistan – the largest market, with a threefold increase in exports (+201%);
• Kazakhstan — growth of 131%;
• Azerbaijan — growth of 216%;
• Russia — shipments began for the first time (none last year);
• Tajikistan — also new shipments.
