11/18/2025, 15:57In the first nine months of 2025, Kyrgyzstan exported $615.4 million worth of gold, significantly higher than the figure for the first eight months ($446.6 million). The increase of almost $170 million indicates a recovery in supply volumes and increased external demand.
Switzerland remains the main destination. From January to September, $405.08 million worth of gold was shipped there, which is $137 million more than last month. This country accounts for the majority of total exports, and the gap with other buyers is only growing.
The UK retained second place with $198.6 million over nine months. Malaysia remains a stable buyer at $10.7 million. Turkey remains within the range of $1.04 million.
China, Hong Kong, and the UAE did not purchase Kyrgyz gold during the reporting periods.
