The reason is that a significant portion of the company's shareholders have long since scattered around the world. According to official data, more than a thousand people entitled to dividends actually live outside Kyrgyzstan — in Russia, Germany and other countries.
There are 1,078 such people in the open joint-stock company. Of the 1,229 shareholders listed in the register, only 151 came to collect their money.
In particular, out of 1,229 shareholders listed in the register, only 151 people received payments. Because of this, dividend payments of 2.5 million KGS were frozen.
