04/09/2026, 15:27The independent auditor Ernst & Young has completed its audit of Kumtor Gold Company’s 2025 financial statements. The audit concluded that the company’s financial statements fairly present its financial position and comply with international standards.
The audit was conducted in accordance with International Standards on Auditing, adhering to the principles of independence and professional judgment. The conclusion notes that Kumtor Gold Company’s financial statements fairly present, in all material respects, the company’s financial position as of December 31, 2025, as well as the results of its operations for the reporting period in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
This confirms the transparency of the financial activities of the country’s largest gold mining enterprise.
For the year ended 2025, the company demonstrated strong financial results:
The company’s contribution to the Kyrgyz economy remains significant. During the reporting period, the company paid $246.5 million in taxes and mandatory payments and an additional $300 million in dividends.
Furthermore, over 12 tons of gold were produced at the Kumtor mine in 2025.
