Farhat Iminov appointed head of the National Agency for Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies

President Sadyr Zhaparov has signed a decree appointing the head of the National Agency for Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies under the President.

According to the document, in accordance with Article 71 of the Constitution of the Kyrgyz Republic, Farhat Iminov has been appointed head of the agency. He has been relieved of his previous post.

The National Agency for Virtual Assets and Blockchain Technologies under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic will oversee matters relating to the regulation and development of the virtual assets market, as well as the implementation of blockchain technologies in the public and private sectors.

The appointment is aimed at strengthening the institutional framework in the field of digital financial technologies and developing the relevant regulatory environment in the country.
