10/17/2025, 15:00Following reports of the arrest of the organisers of the illegal lottery ‘Osh Sila’, the Financial Market Regulation and Supervision Service issued an official statement.
The agency reminded that lotteries and raffles are only permitted in Kyrgyzstan if official documents issued by the authorised body are available. Any activity without such permits violates the Law on Lotteries and entails administrative or criminal liability.
The Financial Supervision Service called on citizens to be vigilant and check the organizers' licenses before participating in any draws. Information about legal lotteries is available on the official website of the Financial Supervision Service.
The regulator also reported that, as part of its monitoring of the internet, it had identified a number of other illegal lotteries, including Iygilik TV, Kut Lotto, Zamir Lotto, Batken Leader, Apaz Sila and Barsbek Batyraliyev. The materials on these cases have been forwarded to law enforcement agencies.
We would like to remind you that earlier, the State Committee for National Security detained the organisers of the ‘Osh Sila’ lottery. The investigation established that the winners were declared to be front men, and the promised prizes — cars, flats and land plots — remained with the organisers.
