Regional development funds increased by almost 361 million KGS

Amendments have been made to the republican budget providing for an increase in funding for regional development funds. The relevant adjustments are reflected in the updated version of Article 13 of the budget law.

Previously, 834.4 million KGS were allocated to regional development funds, but now the amount has been increased to 1 billion 195.3 million KGS. Thus, the additional funding amounted to 360.9 million KGS.

At the same time, the amount of funds allocated to finance the development funds of the Osh and Batken regions remained unchanged at 300 million KGS.

As before, responsibility for the targeted use of republican budget funds allocated to regional development funds rests with the president's authorized representatives in the regions and the heads of local state administrations.
