06/10/2025, 15:38Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev visited a number of facilities during his working visit to Uzbekistan.
The Prime Minister visited one of the largest solar power plants in Central Asia, the Riverside power plant in the Tashkent region. The power plant has a capacity of 200 MW.
The Prime Minister was told that the project is being implemented under a build, own, operate and transfer model with a 25-year power purchase agreement with the National Electric Grid Company of Uzbekistan.
Adylbek Kasymaliyev then visited the first national exhibition of Uzbekistan's industrial and investment potential, organised as part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum.
The exhibition covers an area of about 6,000 square metres and features about 90 companies from more than 10 key sectors of the national economy, including petrochemicals, machine building, electrical engineering, construction materials, metallurgy, pharmaceuticals and food processing.
During his visit, the head of the Cabinet also visited the Kyrgyz Embassy in Uzbekistan and familiarised himself with its activities.
