In the first half of 2025, the growth rate of construction was 142.5%

Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev took part in a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the country's construction industry.

The celebrations began with an exhibition showcasing the industry's achievements and new construction projects that are transforming the face of our capital. Then, Prime Minister Adylbek Kasymaliyev delivered a congratulatory speech.

In his speech, he congratulated builders, architects, engineers and veterans of the industry on their professional holiday on behalf of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers.

Adylbek Kasymaliyev emphasised the key role of the construction industry in the development of the country's economy, noting that it is thanks to the efforts of builders that modern houses, comfortable schools, well-equipped hospitals and other important social facilities are being built, infrastructure is being improved and comfortable living conditions are being created for our citizens.

The Prime Minister also noted the significant achievements of the industry in recent years.

«In 2024, the share of the construction industry in GDP exceeded 8%, ranking fourth among all sectors of the economy. Since 2021, the state has invested more than 170 billion soms in the construction sector — a record amount! Over the past five years, you have completed the construction of 967 important social facilities. In 2024, the industry grew by 31.1%, which is the best indicator among the CIS countries. And already in the first half of 2025, the growth rate of construction was 142.5%», — said Adylbek Kasymaliyev.

The Prime Minister highlighted the ambitious projects facing the country, to which the construction industry must contribute, in particular the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway, the Kambarata Hydroelectric Power Plant-1, the Three Peaks ski resort, modern regional airports and many other important facilities that are planned to be implemented in the near future.
