    The State Tax Service wrote off over 839 million KGS in tax debts from business bank accounts

    In the first 10 months of 2024, tax authorities issued 4,400 fines for late payment of taxes. In response, the State Tax Service sent requests to banks to debit the money from the accounts of debtors. As a result, more than 839 million soms were collected from the accounts of companies and entrepreneurs.

    According to data as of 1 October last year, the number of fines issued for late payment of taxes reached 4,433 cases. Of these, 3,030 tax payment demands for 839.4 million KGS were collected from current accounts.

    For comparison, at the beginning of the year, according to the State Tax Service, as of 1 April, the amount of recoveries amounted to 84.6 million KGS, and by 1 July it had already grown to 481.2 million KGS.

    Thus, the volume of enforced collections increased almost tenfold compared to the first quarter.
