During the delivery of medicines to one of the pharmacies by citizen S.M.M. in an Opel car, a batch of medicines was found that were not registered in the state register of medicines of the Kyrgyz Republic. According to preliminary data, these medicines were intended for subsequent sale through pharmacies for the purpose of obtaining illegal profits.
In addition, as a result of an inspection of one of the pharmacies that received the illegal batch of medicines, medicines without supporting documents confirming their origin and quality were identified. It was also established that this pharmacy was operating without a licence and permits from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Based on the facts revealed, materials were prepared and sent to law enforcement agencies for legal assessment and procedural decisions.
The circulation of medicines without the appropriate documents and permits poses a serious threat to the health and lives of citizens, as the origin, composition and safety of such drugs are not subject to state control.
The Tax Service continues to work actively to identify and suppress the circulation of unaccounted and contraband goods in the country.
