01/28/2026, 18:17During a tax inspection raid, employees of the State Tax Service discovered evidence of the sale of excise goods without excise stamps in the city of Bishkek.
In particular, approximately 13,000 units of sugar-containing, energy and alcoholic beverages without excise stamps were discovered.
The relevant reports were drawn up on the spot and the materials were forwarded to the law enforcement authorities for legal assessment in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It should be noted that the sale of excisable products without excise stamps is punishable by a fine of 100,000 KGS for the sale of up to 200 units, and for the sale of more than 200 units, the punishment can be up to 7 years' imprisonment.
The tax service urges entrepreneurs not to allow the sale of excisable products without excise stamps and to carefully check their authenticity and compliance.
In addition, to protect their health, citizens are advised to pay attention to the presence and authenticity of excise stamps on alcoholic products and, if suspicious products are found, to immediately contact the tax authorities.
