The ‘Zhyrgalan’ ski resort is set to open on 1 December

The first phase of the ‘Zhyrgalan’ ski resort in Kyrgyzstan is set to open on 1 December. This was announced by President Sadyr Zhaparov at an event in the Talas Region marking the country’s Independence Day.

According to the head of state, the first phase of construction of the ‘Ala-Too Resort’ ski cluster has already been completed.

The new tourist complex is expected to become a key driver of mountain tourism development in Kyrgyzstan. Furthermore, the project is set to create thousands of jobs.

Sadyr Zhaparov expressed his hope that the first phase of the resort would be ready to open as early as 1 December.
